Some inverse problems for wave equations with fractional derivative attenuation

چکیده
Abstract The damped wave equation with the attenuation proportional to velocity is ubiquitous in science and engineering a common situation when depends on frequency. usual way incorporate this effect introduce fractional order derivatives either as replacement for u t or modifier through spatial component space derivatives. Models these are very well developed effort paper towards analysis of inverse problem recovering critical coefficients initial states although we also develop constructive methods analyse their degree ill-conditioning.

Fractional Wave Equations with Attenuation.
Fractional wave equations with attenuation have been proposed by Caputo [5], Szabo [27], Chen and Holm [7], and Kelly et al. [11]. These equations capture the power-law attenuation with frequency observed in many experimental settings when sound waves travel through inhomogeneous media. In particular, these models are useful for medical ultrasound. This paper develops stochastic solutions and w...
متن کاملInitial Value/boundary Value Problems for Fractional Diffusion-wave Equations and Applications to Some Inverse Problems
We consider initial value/boundary value problems for fractional diffusion-wave equation: ∂ α t u(x, t) = Lu(x, t), where 0 < α ≤ 2, where L is a symmetric uniformly elliptic operator with t-independent smooth coefficients. First we establish the unique existence of ths weak solutions and the asymptotic behaviour as the time t goes to ∞ and the proofs are based on the eigenfunction expansions. ...

متن کاملSolutions for some non-linear fractional differential equations with boundary value problems
In recent years, X.J.Xu [1] has been proved some results on mixed monotone operators. Following the paper of X.J.Xu, we study the existence and uniqueness of the positive solutions for non-linear differential equations with boundary value problems.
